If you are interested in my services, I offer a free 30-min consult to talk about your goals and what your day-to-day reality is to write within. After that, I will make some suggestions for a package and you can think about it and decide what you would like to do.

WRITING COACHING AND STRUCTURAL EDITING PACKAGES

“FIRST DRAFT” COACHING PACKAGE

This package is 6 one-hour meetings with homework and the opportunity to get some of your writing read by me at least three times. This is an excellent package if you are starting out and want to get a good first draft. Meetings are held online using Google meets, and are booked based on mutual convenience with the goal of completing all six meetings within four months.

Week 1: Opening the Tap and Thinking about Arc

Week 2: Getting to Specific Stories

Week 3: Writing Into the Story

Week 4: Working through Blocks

Week 5: Revisiting the Arc + Your Character

Week 6: Next Steps and Final Review

COACHING AND STRUCTURAL EDITING PACKAGE

All of the above + structural edit of first draft including a 1-hour meeting to discuss the suggested edits.

BASIC COACHING PACKAGE

4 one-hour meetings: Opening the Tap OR Planning Strong, Getting Stories Out, Blocks, and Final Review

This is a good package if you already have a daily writing habit but need help getting a specific piece of writing or a first novel draft completed. This package has the opportunity to get some of your writing read by me twice. Meetings are held online using Google meets, and are booked based on mutual convenience with the goal of completing all four meetings within four months.

STRUCTURAL EDITING BY THE PAGE

Rate: $20 per page, double-spaced, 12 pt, regular margins

Delivered: Your draft with my notes

I will read your full draft and suggest structural edits. This does not include grammar checks.

Please note: My services are for fiction, memoir, poetry, and creative non-fiction writing only. I do not provide any of the above services for academic writing of any kind, at any level. I also do not provide copy-editing, though I can refer you to talented individuals who can do this at a reasonable rate.

Invoices are provided and HST is rolled within the rates. Payment is accepted via Paypal and ETF.
